Damon successfully completed his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Monash University in February 2014. They have also been published in the Journal of Counseling Psychology.
Damon has extended this research in his clinical practice at the Melbourne Sleep Disorders Centre in East Melbourne since September 2013. He has assisted hundreds of individuals with a wide range of sleeping problems, from acute to chronic insomnia, advanced and delayed sleep phase disorders, parasomnias, nightmares, and restless legs syndrome.
Outside of his interest in sleep, Damon loves to read, write blog posts and make videos on various psychology topics. He enjoys being active and tries to keep fit by playing basketball, beach volleyball and tennis. He also occasionally swims, cycles, lifts weights and heads up to the mountains in winter to ski.
